We had a busy Saturday at James Prechel Photography. First we had baby Marlee and her Mom Sarah in for Easter portraits in our morning session. Marlee was an absolute joy to photograph and is definitely one of the happiest babies around. The session turned into an extended session because Marlee was enjoying herself so much. This is why we try not to schedule back to back sessions. We look forward to seeing Marlee again very soon.

We had Hunter and his Mom Christina come by Saturday afternoon for Easter portraits. Hunter had a rough day. He already spent the morning taking soccer pictures and he was ready to go down to the beach and catch some fish. (I totally understand, Hunter. I've been so busy lately I haven't been able to go fishing either). Our regular session turned into a short session because Hunter just had enough. Sometimes it is better to end a session early and even reschedule if necessary, rather than to try to force a child into doing something he doesn't want to do. We still got some great shots and we hope to see Hunter again soon for a fishing report and/or more pictures. :)
