Dog Day Afternoon - Harlingen Pet Photographer

I took this great image of Ace yesterday. I had some free time in my schedule so I took the opportunity to play with my two corgis, Ace and Amelia. I was able to take some nice photos of both of them while we played, but this was my absolute favorite.

I was also reminded how short our pets lives are yesterday. A good friend of ours had to put his dog, Woody, down after it suffered several seizures over the weekend. I took this sad occasion as a reminder to spend a little quality time with my pets and to take some new photos of each of them.

Has it really been that long?

I have been meaning to make some posts on this blog for a while now, but somehow I would get side tracked and focus on something else. Well here I am and I see that I haven't posted since April! I didn't think it had been that long. Oh well, I will try to do better in the future (no promises though)!

I did a maternity shoot this past weekend that I really enjoyed. You may remember Hunter Longoria's Easter shoot from a few posts back. Well Hunter is getting a sister soon and I was chosen to take his Mom's maternity photos. This was my first time taking maternity photos, and I learned a lot doing so. Christina is a beautiful mommy and mommy to be so it made my job a lot easier.
